You Need Me to Say Yes

Here is a lesson in literature

An open letter for all future writers

At the end of the day,

you need me to say yes

I belong to an amazing literature group of less than 30,

I have a home in every city,

recognised in every university,

mentioned at the end of every party

25th but never last,

I am the old man with the crooked leg

You need me to say yes

Whatever you write,

I am always in front of you.

I complete modern literature completely

I even appear in Hemingway,

Yeats & Heaney’s poetry,

and James Joyce's Ulysses

I ask so many questions

Don't ask me why?

Nobody dances the MCA

I am the letter __
