Pick Up a Copy, Any Copy

Updated: Nov 4, 2022

Pick up a copy of Ulysses and open it, while it might be a challenge to read, it is a well loved classic that was banned and burnt before winning over many readers.

Included in this post are the bookshelves of Jamie Salomon from the Festival Bloomsday Montreal Ulysses reading group which shows an impressive collection of books by James Joyce and books about Ulysses.

You only need one book to take part in The Groundhog Day Challenge but despite so many of the original copies being confiscated, many more have been printed over the last century as can be seen in Jamie's collection.

Join Jamie and Festival Bloomsday Montreal Ulysses reading group, on Zoom for one of their readings on October 21st and remember there are a little over 100 days before the 100 year anniversary.

Can you finish Ulysses by then?
